Scoring - cutting a pattern into the concrete to add additional dimension to a stained concrete surface

Resurfacing - applying a thin polymer cement overlay on top of existing concrete to give it a new surface and appearance; depending on the product, it can be sprayed on to have a splatter/drag finish with or without a pattern, stamped, or trowled on, scored, and then acid stained; also used to regrade or level existing concrete surface

Sealing - applying a coating of either a water-based or solvent based concrete sealer to protect decorative concrete as well as plain concrete from discoloring and staining (available in clear and a wide range of colors)
